Settings / General Settings
The General Settings page is used to configure the app’s main preferences—from product licensing and CPU usage to AI output settings.

You can open Settings via the settings icon in the top-right corner.
Worker / CPU
The CPU slider determines how many CPU cores you want to allocate to Autometa. It’s recommended to use about half of your total CPU cores so performance stays smooth while multitasking.
Prompt Image Size
Sets the maximum image size (in pixels) that will be sent to the AI model for analysis. Larger images help the AI analyze more detail, but will consume more AI tokens.
Adjust this based on your needs.
Title Length
To control the title length you want, enter an English prompt. Example values:
under 200 characters→ ask the AI to generate a title no longer than 200 characters
100 - 200 characters→ ask for a title between 100 and 200 characters
5 words→ ask for a title in 5 words
Description Word Count
To control how many words you want for the meta description. Example values:
100→ ask the AI to generate a 100-word description
60 - 100→ ask for a description between 60 and 100 words
Keywords
To control how many keywords you want. Example values:
minimum of 40→ ask the AI to generate at least 40 keywords
30 - 50→ ask for 30 to 50 keywords
Note
The values you enter here are only requests/instructions for the AI.
Since results are generated automatically by AI, the exact number of characters/words/keywords may not always match what you requested.
Custom Prompt
If you want to use a custom prompt, enable this option and write the prompt you want to use. This is great for advanced users who want more control over AI output.
Rename Files
Choose whether file names should be renamed automatically to match the AI-generated title.
Available options:
- Don’t rename → keep the original file name
Example:
original_filename.jpg
- Yes, use title → rename using the generated title
Example:
Red gemstone radiating intense energy.jpg
- Title with hyphens → rename using the generated title without spaces
Example:
red-gemstone-radiating-intense-energy.jpg
Adobe Categories
If enabled, categories will follow the Adobe Stock category system. This is helpful when uploading to Adobe Stock manually or via FTP, so you don’t need to set the category for each file.
Product License
License Status
Shows your “Machine ID” and license status:
- If you have an active subscription, it will show the expiration/validity info
- If you don’t have an active subscription, you can purchase one from this page
- If you already have a license but your subscription isn’t active yet (e.g., you got a trial), you can activate it by clicking “I already have a license code” and entering your license code
